Job Description

Is responsible for receiving, compiling, and preparing orders for restaurant clients. They ensure accuracy in product selection, quantities, and overall quality of the items prepared.

Ensures that orders are ready on time, clearly identified, and meet any specific customer requirements. They also contribute to organizing the preparation area and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, enter, and validate customer orders (text message, email, phone)

• Verify product availability, and make adjustments or substitutions when necessary

• Track orders, deliveries, and returns

• Communicate proactively with clients regarding any changes

• Handle basic invoicing

• Work closely with the shop team to ensure smooth daily operations

Profile Sought

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively

• Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak periods

• Autonomous, detail-oriented, responsible, and a strong team player

• Experience in agri-food, logistics, or customer service (asset)

• Knowledge of fresh products (fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, nuts)

• Familiarity with the Montreal restaurant scene (asset)

• Bilingual (French / English)
