Position Title & # Of Vacancies: Assistant Restaurant Manager

 

Job Details

 

Tasks:

 

- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring high standards of service.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise.

- Supervise and train staff in food preparation, bartending and restaurant management practices.

- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.

- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment.

- Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

- Monitor employee performance, providing feedback and support to enhance their skills.

 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Work with minimal Supervision

 

Personal Suitability: Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising staff. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.

 

Terms of Employment: Indeterminate/Permanent, Full-time, Non-seasonal

Language of work: English

Wage: $36.00 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week

Benefits: Bonus


Skills Requirements


Education: Completion of college related to hospitality, or food and beverage service management is usually required.


Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in the food service industry is required. Food Safety certification is a must. Experience in food preparation and bartending is an asset.
